What is the Bearwood Tapestry 2021?

We Are Bearwood with the help of Bearwood Community Hub and support from Creative Black Country embroidered a Bearwood Tapestry. A hundred volunteers received a kit designed and created by textile artist Maria Wigley, which contained everything they needed, including printed instructions, to stitch a small panel on a theme of nature which was so important to us during lockdown.

Maria then combined each panel to form a hanging which is now displayed in the new Bearwood Community Hub.
